Their quote was competitive and they could fit us in at a date convenient to us.
Rob & Jason fitted our boiler and they were friendly, efficient, tidy with their work and even stayed on to ensure we had hot water that same evening (we have young children).

From start to finish, I was really impressed with this company. As first time buyers, we moved in to our property to find that the boiler was not working (after been told in our paperwork that it was – but that’s a whole other story). After having a different company come out (with an extortionate hourly rate not including VAT) to tell us that x, y and z were broken, we searched for a boiler replacement team. We called Home Team on the Tuesday morning and Darren came out free of charge to take a look at our system that afternoon. We got a quote then and there and had an appointment booked in straight away at a competitive price for the weekend (working around our availability). Darren was extremely patient and explained everything we could have thought of (and things we would never have thought about) in a very user-friendly way.
The engineer then came to install our new combi boiler and thermostat without any problems and even fitted a new drain valve on one of our radiators as there wasn’t a single one in the house. The job was completed quickly, neatly and the engineer was very professional. Very grateful to have hot water and heating in our new home and will definitely be utilising Home Team’s annual servicing offering.
Excellent service, we had a nightmare boiler that would keep breaking down but would inconveniently work perfectly everytime someone came to look at it.
Mark visited on a couple of occasions on evenings and weekends around our work schedules to try and diagnose the issue and try a few repairs, even helping bring us into the 21st century with a wifi controller. Ultimately despite his persistence the boiler decided to keep causing problems so weighing up the cost of a new boiler with guarantees vs constant repairs on the worlds most pedantic boiler we worked out we would be far better getting a new one fitted.
Quotes were very competitive with a few different options available to us and after a phonecall with Darren to get recommendations when we narrowed the search to 2 options we gave the go ahead.
The work was very completed very quickly and cleanly (amazIng how few tradesmen clean up after themselves), we had continuity with Mark being the person to fit it along with his trusty apprentice so no issues with someone else getting familiar with the house layout.
Now everything is working absolutely perfectly, the model of boiler we chose is user friendly to a point I am no longer the only person in the house who can program it, which in its own right is a miracle and worth the money alone. We have hot water and heating available when we want it and not when the boiler feels we deserve it and more importantly the rubber ducks now have a bath they can happily swim around in again.
Between the advice from Darren & Mark, the work and persistence provided by Mark and his trusty apprentice Jake through to Helen for having to keep amending quotes the service has been everything you could ask for and I would definately recommend them.

Home Team weren’t our first choice. We couldn’t fault the quote but wanted to support a smaller, more local firm. Sadly we were let down and after 8 weeks went back to Home Team. Russell re-quoted within 20 minutes for changes we requested. The next day we arranged for the work to take place at the start of the following week.
On arrival at 8.00 AM it turned out that there was an issue with the work specified which would have caused extra upheaval. After a short discussion with ‘base’ Robert suggested an alternative solution, but gave us the option to think about it & re-arrange for later in the week had we wanted. We went ahead and despite the unplanned later start caused, the job (Boiler replacement, new controller, new radiator and TRVs all round) was completed in a day. Robert & Jason were friendly, personable and kept things clean & tidy. Robert gave us full explanations throughout and showed us how everything worked. We would recommend Home Team highly and they will definitely be our first choice if we need further work doing.
I had 2 quotes before I came across home team, who came and did a home visit, after looking around they told me I need a newer updated one.They recommend 3 boilers what would fit my needs at competitive quotes I went for the Atag boiler.The team that came to install the boiler were clean efficient and very polite who did a fantastic job.i was having problems with my shower and they did that for me,the team was very professional in all aspects of the job.i have no hesitation in recommending the home team to my friends thank you home team job well done.

After my dad’s boiler broke down and being told by his service provider his insurance did’nt cover a replacement we were faced with buying a new one. A Home Team assessor was there the next day and quoted a very reasonable price plus due to my dad being in his 90s was able to arrange installation and get it up and running within 3 days. The installers also made safe and capped off his old gas fire that he does’nt use free of charge. Very satisfied with the Home Team service from start to finish and would thoroughly recommend.

My parents needed a their boiler servicing, so I contacted Home Team to see if they could help. The appointment was brooked and they was very happy at the price quoted. Home Team turned up and provided a first class service, Unfortunately there was an issue with the pressure into the boiler, but this was picked up by the professionals and fixed at no extra cost.
