Home team recently installed for me a new Worcester Bosch boiler, 13 radiators along with domestic water feeds etc. The job was not without its difficulties but Heat team did a fantastic job. On 27th April we awoke to find our boiler was not working. I found Home Team Sheffield during a Google search and filled in their online enquiry, shortly after I had a call from Helen and she arranged for Darren to come out and have a look. This was within the space of 2 hours. Our boiler needed a new PCB but we discussed the cost and risks of fitting a new part and decided to replace the boiler with a brand new Ideal one. Our old boiler was only 8 years old and had worked well but it wasn’t the best and the repair was not economical and there were risks attached to replacing the part.
I was provided with a quote by email and arranged the fitting for the 29th.
Rob and Oliver have just left. What a pleasure to meet such friendly polite people. They arrived at 8.30 and by lunchtime I had a warm house again.

We’ve been impressed by the fast, friendly and efficient service from Home Team in providing us with our new Central Heating boiler. Having Russell come to see our situation and quote for a solution all within a few hours of our initial call was just what we needed. From there on everything has been handle quickly, efficiently, and well both at the office and on-site. A very good service at a very competitive price; just what was wanted!
Having had our boiler cut off due to a fault and receiving a very large quote for a new one my wife and I decided to search the web for other installers. We came across the Home Team site and being impressed with what we read emailed our needs and requested a quote. Darren contacted us immediately, even though it was a weekend, and said a quote would be with us by 8pm that evening – and so it was! The quote contained everything in detail and was extremely fair. We accepted it on the spot and Darren arranged to visit it us on the Monday to carry out a survey. What can we say. The boiler was duly installed on the following Friday. Dave, the engineer, explained everything that he needed to do and both he and Lucas, an apprentice, were very respectful of our home. They are both very nice guys – nothing being too much trouble. We would unreservedly recommend Home Team and look forward to joining their maintenance plan as we know we can rely on the company. They thoroughly deserve 5 stars because we received 5 star treatment.
Got straight back in touch after initial email , engineer came out and sourced problem and managed to find part that was required surprisingly as it was an old boiler . Due to age of boiler rather than have it repaired I decided on a new boiler and was given a lot of advice on various boilers , on deciding on a recommended boiler it was all arranged and fitted within a couple of days. No pressure or pressure sales talk just friendly advice and common sense from experienced friendly engineers .
I took an online quote from a comparison site. Home team were among those recommended. They were quite to arrange a home visit and gave competitive quotes on boilers that were right for the job. They were able to undertake and complete the job sooner than many firms would book is in for a quote, and didn’t give us any faff or nonsense. The workmen who installed were clean and efficient, polite and respectful, and did a good job. The follow-up care has been professional and not overly fawning. Very happy with all aspects.
I would recommend Home Team wholeheartedly. We had a new boiler fitted recently , and found the staff to be very efficient at their jobs, and , just as important , they were very pleasant and helpful. There was nothing that was too much trouble for them. I am very happy with their service and their work.
